Nike unveiled its new team gear for the 2010 World Cup by throwing an invite-only party in Chicago and re-opening the secret Noel State Bank vault. Upon arrival at the bank, the guests were escorted into the underground vault and given codes to unlock their private safe deposit boxes. Outside the vault, guests were given the royal treatment with an exclusive party.
I designed the event from top to bottom — identity, collateral and website. The printed pieces were letterpressed with metallic silver ink. I also worked closely with the event planner on even the most minute details, such as the music to be played and the server’s dresses.
